When can I take a look at this apartment?
CYM Living offers both virtual and in-person tours, by appointment only, between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm seven days a week. Please reach out to our leasing team at 312-940-4479 to schedule an appointment. CYM Living also offers several other online leasing tools such as online applications and lease signings and pre-recorded tours.
Do I have to see the apartment in person?
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've launched online leasing! Browse our available units here and schedule yourself a live virtual appointment today.

What's your pet policy?
CYM Living is pet friendly. Two pets, weighing up to 40 pounds, are welcome per unit. Certain breeds are prohibited based on average full grown weight. A one time pet fee of $100 or $200 and a monthly charge of up to $20 per pet may apply. Pet policies vary by property.
Do I need a specific credit score?
Credit reporting is a factor of our approval process but specific credit scores are not required.
Do you offer short term leases?
12 months is our shortest lease term available.
What schools are located in my neighborhood?

How can I sign a lease?
A lease can be signed online or in person at your local neighborhood office. Please call 312-940-4479 to set up an appointment.
How do I apply?
You can submit an application online here. You must have a government issued ID and 60 days proof of income.
Do you have an application fee?
The application fee is $50 per applicant, unless otherwise specified. This can be paid with a credit card, debit card or bank account information.
What do I have to put down to hold an apartment?
The full move-in fee or security deposit is due at lease signing and will hold the unit until your scheduled move-in date (some exceptions may apply).
How long does application approval take?
Applications begin processing within 24 - 48 business hours of submission. Please ensure you've included all necessary documentation for a speedy turnaround.
When can I sign a lease?
A lease may be signed after your showing appointment and your application has been approved. All units are first come, first served.
Once you're a CMY Living resident:
Can I pay my rent online?
Yes, you can! You can login to your Resident Portal and make payment for your rent with credit card, debit card, or an ACH withdrawal from your bank account.
How do I request maintenance?
You can reach our maintenance team in multiple ways. For one, you can login to your Resident Portal here and click "Submit Service Request". You can also call our Resident Care team at 312-940-4479 to submit a maintenance request. In the case your maintenance issue is an emergency and is after hours, please call 312-940-4479 and follow the prompts for your community. Your request will then be dispatched to an on-call technician.
My child just turned 18; do I need to add them to my lease?
Yes, please reach out to Resident Care at 312-940-4479 and schedule an appointment.
